My practice is rooted in sculpture as a way of thinking through material, form, and research. My projects begin with a conceptual question developed alongside a clear awareness of the materials involved, allowing form to emerge through process and material resistance. Clay is central to my work due to its capacity for transformation; through carving, wheel-throwing, molds, and glaze research, I use ceramics to simulate or destabilize other materials, producing objects that hover between recognition and ambiguity.
Alongside ceramics, I work with found objects sourced deliberately from specific contexts. I seek them out rather than collect them passively, attentive to their histories and latent narratives. These materials are assembled through series of objects that respond to a shared conceptual framework, guided by balance and internal order. Political and social questions are addressed both materially and discursively within my work.
